As a Senior Accounts Payable Controller you will be joining a team of great Finance professionals in a very dynamic environment. The position is ideal for a motivated person with experience in accounting, who would like to take on a wider range of responsibilities in an exciting atmosphere.
What you’ll do as a Senior Accounts Payable Controller:
Reconcile bank statements on a daily basis;
Collect, sort, classify and register (primary accounting) documents in electronic journals and books;
Follow up different reports and checks on a monthly basis.
Participate in the preparation of the monthly VAT reports;
Participate in the monthly closing of the accounts in the general ledger and to support the financial reporting;
Reconcile Vendor statements;
To contact Vendors making sure all documents are collected on time;
Monitors and maintains monthly aging reports and reconciliations;
Support the follow up and reporting of the CAPEX items in the context of the overall company accounting;
Invoice issue in ERP system (NetSuite);
Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
What skills you will use:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics;
At least 3 years of experience with accounting & taxation;
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken);
High professional level in Excel;
Ability to initiate and progress various activities and tasks in an independent manner;
Extremely organized with high attention to details;
Ability to prioritize tasks and functions well under stress;
Loyal, discreet with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information;
Previous experience in a similar position is an advantage.
