Industry-leading technology supplier wins flagship Central and Eastern European Gaming prize for the third straight year
London, UK – September 26, 2018
SBTech’s position as the leading supplier of sports betting solutions in Central and Eastern Europe was confirmed last night at the CEEG Awards in Budapest, where the company was named Best Overall Sports Betting Provider for the third consecutive year.
The Central and Eastern European markets have been key growth areas for SBTech over the past 12 months, with partners operating in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic achieving significant market share, and the May launch of Adjarabet in Georgia and Armenia expanding the company’s regional footprint.
The launch of a range of ground-breaking new features as well as a responsive front end and innovative additional betting markets saw the company take its sports betting offering to new heights in 2018. New features including YourBet, Pulse Bet, Add2Bet and Action Betting have enabled operators to attract new demographics through the industry’s best user experience.
YourBet, SBTech’s fully automated bet builder feature, enables the creation of pre-match combos on related contingencies, with real-time pricing. Pulse Bet offers jackpot-style gameplay when betting on how soon a goal will be scored in a live football match, with potential winnings increasing incrementally. Add2Bet allows players to use cash out value to include more selections in their active bets, while Action Betting is an in-play bet suggestion tool powered by the fastest bet placement in the industry.
Andrew Cochrane, Chief Commercial Officer of SBTech, commented after picking up the award in Budapest: “We are very proud of our strong relationship with the region, with two of SBTech’s biggest offices based in Bulgaria and another major operation in Kyiv. Just this month we opened a state-of-the-art sports-themed office in Sofia and we have a number of key clients in the region. I look forward to growing our presence in Eastern Europe still further over the coming years.
After a period of intense activity for SBTech in the US and Western Europe, it’s gratifying to be recognised once again for our work in a region that remains vital to our international strategy”, he added.
