SBTech in the News
Tuesday 24 April 2018
The past month has been a busy one for SBTech, with the group’s specialist teams working on numerous projects to update and optimise key products and features and the company actively contributing content and viewpoints to industry publications.
Our announcement in late March of the launch of Danish state lottery Danske Spil’s new betting site Youbet.dk was another landmark development that saw SBTech garner plaudits across the sector. Gaming Intelligence published an extensive interview with SBTech chief executive Richard Carter (paywall) that covered the Danske Spil announcement and the company’s recent growth, while our interview with Danske Spil CEO Niels Erik Folmann was also widely read on this site and shared across social media.
UK-focused online bookmaker MansionBet was launched on SBTech’s full platform solution earlier this year and has been performing very strongly in the three months it has been live. Chief operating officer and managing director Shelly Haddad spoke to eGaming Review (paywall) about the group’s plans and was highly complimentary about SBTech as a betting and gaming solutions provider.
“SBTech offered a fantastic product and platform solution, alongside a selection of managed services which we found very appealing as we expanded into this side of the industry. This was relevant both in terms of completing our product offering through the addition of our new sportsbook, MansionBet, and UX improvements across our portfolio of casinos,” she told eGaming Review.
“We aim to offer our valued players the complete package – with fully optimised casino and sportsbook products across all devices, impeccable service and impressive promotions to match.”
As a group, SBTech is committed to diversity (25% of our workforce is female) and Richard Carter and Head of HR Aldema Gilad contributed comments and insights to the cover feature of the March-April 2018 issue of iGaming Business (paywall) on what the igaming sector can do to be more relevant to women and attract more of them to the industry.
Richard Carter was also featured in the latest issue of Gambling Insider, in which he explained how SBTech works with its clients to realise the true potential of partnership. Read the feature as a PDF: SBTech Gambling Insider.
SBTech is active across social channels (Facebook, Linkedin etc.), so follow us and look out for upcoming posts, as well as the next installment of ‘SBTech in the News’ which will be released at the end of May. See you then.
